ARTESYN INDUSTRIAL SMPS -IVS SYSTEM

THE REPAIR STORY↓↓↓ 

*No power and burn smell were the reported failure. Unit from IVS Metrology system.
*Yes, found multiple blown diodes and mosfets inside. Causing the burn smell.
*Replaced all blown components and power-up. Still no voltage output.
*Power-up & continue tshooting. Found pwm IC vref read 3V5. Good should be 5V1.
*One of the Vgs protection zener diodes was found "open".
*Replaced the faulty zener diode. All voltage outputs restored. See image below.
*Installed back the unit into the system.
*Saved USD 5K.
